Otto P. Kraft was born December 28, 1934 in the small town of Sulzbach an der Murr, Germany, the eldest son of August and Genevieve Kraft. He immigrated to the United States with his parents and two younger brothers, Helmut and Albert, in October 1951. He was a butcher by trade and spent his career working for he German meat distributor and retail shop, Karl Ehmer.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ingrid Kraft, his daughters, Denise
(Michael ) DePalma, Andrea (Eric) Uzzo, five grandchildren, Eric, Phillip, Jonathan, Luke and Christina, and his brother Albert and loving nieces and nephews. His parents and younger brother Helmut predeceased him.
Otto fought valiantly but never fully recovered after a difficult, sudden brain injury brought on by viral encephalitis and subsequent seizure disorder. He passed peacefully with family at his side on February 18. Above all, Otto will be remembered for his warm smile, his sense of humor, his generosity of spirit and  his kindness.
